Marriage License Application : A Report
Thursday, November 15th, 2007So we finally filed for our marriage license this morning at the Mandaluyong City Hall. But before we could finally give that very important paper, we had to go through a lot.
First of, we went to our city hall to get my cedula and had breakfast at the nearby Tapa King .And because Josh brought his original birth certificate when only an authenticated one is needed, we went to the Makati City Hall after that. I decided to have to get another copy of my birth certificate should I plan to get a passport soon. We waited for about an hour. I was bored so I just played that one song ringing in my head right now, Knees to the Earth, by Christy Knockels, atleast 5 times I think.
As soon as we got the greenish papers, we immediately went to the Mandaluyong City Hall yet again to finally submit the application form for marriage license.
KUYA : O pinayagan na ba kayo ng magulang nyo?
ME : Opo.
KUYA : Sige, dalhin nyo na lang ID nila pagbalik nyo sa Nov. 27. Pagkatapos nun pwede na kayo umakyat kay Mayor.
Hahaha! So does that mean that once we get the license we can get married? As in really really get married? Like really? Hahaha.
The man who assisted us was friendly enough that Josh and I both left with a smile. And no, we’re not thinking about getting married on the 27th. ![]()
